Say you got a pioneer that lacks 10 merits to finish GMA
and can not finish because he is forced into youth.
Don't you think that boy will have bitterness towards the
church? I do.
How would like someone to tell you "you can't be a Royal Rangers
commander because you're to old (ie. 45-50)."?
I think pastors need to place themselves in the kids shoes before
making policies that will effect them, maybe for the rest of there lifes
Like John said, there are 12 and even 13 year olds that has no business
going to youth. I want you to think about something: Who reaches the
majorty
of kids before they go into youth? Royal Rangers and Missonetts.
To me this is how we should work with youth:
Royal Rangers and Missonetts brings them in and cleans them. Youth
finishes makeing them into young men and women that take over the
churches.
