We as Christians walk by faith. It is a day to day walk of trusting in
God for each step. As place our lives into the master's hands. We are
no longer ours but His.
We are to be example to those set before us. May it be saved or lost.
But our example is should be of Christ.
As many of you know I battle an illness each day. But I live as Christ.
With God's help I'll do my best to my God, my wife, family, church, and
those set before each day. May it be the clothes I sew for someone or
cooking or cleaning the house. It is unto the Lord.
There are days where I get out in about. Such as a support group or
errands or what ever. Today is an errand day.
I drove my wife to work. Then came home to read the Bible and pray.
Then I had the oil changed. I thanked the person for changing the oil.
Then i stop at the church to have a short visit with the janitor. That
few make a difference in someone's life. Even if it is a short visit.
Then it was off to the tire place. I need the tire rotated. The person
who rotated the tires. Mention to me that two of tires had a lug nut
missing on each. I did not complain but mention that the other tire
place(these two belong to the same company) where I bought it must had
lost it. I asked if they had any lug nuts. One of the bolts was strip.
I mention if they had a thread chaser. They did and repaired it.
I thank the person who fixed it. He replied by saying thank you. I
replied back by saying, " God bless you for fixing the bolt." This
person was beaming.
On to the doctor's office. I over heard the doctor's wife talking to a
priest about a family who lives next door to them. This family goes to
my church. I ended up in the conversation. Then it was just the priest
and I. He wanted to know what goes on in the church on Sunday and Wed..
We had a short conversation. I mention to him to check it out.
Then there was the phone call from a person that has the same illness
that I have. She want some to talk to about her fears. So I listened.
In closing, I just want to encourage you all to follow God's leading.
You'll never no where he will lead you to. It might be a person that is
very hungry for the Word of God. Or it might be someone that needs to
hear an encouraging word. Or someone that wants someone to talk to.
To be a Christian. One must live as Christ. Love and compassion
your fellow bond servant,
