I missed the downsizing lay-off last year because I
had 31 years with HP. This year is a different story. Tomorrow
morning will be my last day with 32 years and 1 month. I do get to retire
but at 55 you know what that means; I must find a new job so I can really retire
later. My main benefit is that I have insurance that I can buy for a decent
price. I have decided to go to school and study to become a pharmacy Tec.
I can be back in the workforce in about 9 or 10 months. This will
slow down my ranger activities for a while until I get out of school. I
was scared stiff until I realized that this is where god wants me and I just
have to listen for the particulars on what HE wants. GOD always is in
control, it is just us that has to learn to listen.
