Last night on PBS I watched a program about the secret code breakers of
WW2 in Britain..
With only the scrambled transmissions of Nazi communications they were
able to "de-duce" not only
the message but the machine that scrambled the text! They built one
based on sheer brain power of
asking what would it take to secure text and portray it in this manor..
They "saw" the un-seen.. by looking
not at the confusion.. but at the surrounding structure that did not
change...
Germans were sure that their messages could not be broken... they
trusted the equipment they developed,
and in fact it was good! But the code was broken because of predictable
human traits and errors being
sent over the radio... To anncounce a message three (3) letters would
start.. the code sender was told to
choose random letters..
Humans are not random.. the letters H-I-T then the code *-*-*
(L-E-R?) How about: L-O-N followed by
*-*-*(D-O-N?) or try: B-E-R * * * (L-I-N?)
The Nazi's started messages with a repeated cheer of Hail Hitler... *so
what ever the code machine scrambled..
the British reasoned that message might be at the start<G>
Each day a clue was sent that predicted the change the enemy made to
confuse transmitted text<G> and soon
they came to expect the changes each day and guess them before the
Germans sent them<G> *What fun<G>
The machine had three wheels to scramble text.. Allied forces had found
that out.. then it all went black!
Germany added a forth wheel to their machine! By wars end they had a
machine with 12 wheels of random letters and
code so tuff... the Leader of the codebrakers found one message required
30 days to de-code!
"I think I'll invent a machine that uses vacuum tubes to sort out random
phrases using a binary code of on-off"
Tah-da! the worlds first programmable Computer! THANK-YOU BRITISH
INTELLIGENCE <g>

random codes he allows you to see?
*THINK ABOUT WHAT THE ENEMY SENDS YOU OVER THE TV! ...the movies and
the Internet!
..what about music you hear? Pictures you "see"....
Can you use "RANGER INTELLIGENCE" to see he would kill you, addict you,
bring you harm and pollute the temple of the Holy Spirit? He's the
enemy! He's come to steal your joy and rob you of eternal life thought
Jesus! when he gets close..
you won't know it.. you'll rebel, get angry and quit Rangers-church and
become a "problem" to your god fearing parents!
*READ THE INTELLIGENCE REPORT! BREAK THE CODE!
The bible has this all laid out, and provides you with the power to
resist and triumph in the LORD!
*HOW CAN THE Enemy... steal your mind?
The facts are that "Outside" forces steal your CONCENTRATION and you
become tired of the challenge of learning new things and achieving
goals... BREAK THE CODE! *you need to do your homework! Good Grades
honor you and honor the Lord Jesus! Don't fall into the trap of the
enemy and dodge responsibility... the enemy loves that!
Use you BRAIN POWER!
Break the task into segments... do what you know and think about the
rest... remember the lecture at class?
