Great post... a fantastic consolidated overview of the two cults. great
information for us all.... but I would hesitate to present this as any sort
of outpost meeting subject. If it came up, i'd likely refer the boy to the
Pastor via his parents instead of making it a meeting theme.
This thread reminded me of a young man in my youth group who wanted to study
the books written by occult authors so he would "know what he was fighting
against" from "their side" of the issue.
Kind of like shooting yourself so you'll understand how it feels to be
shot.... :-)
Boys and Girls of Ranger/Missionette age are VERY impressionable. To take
on the subject of cults and occults is something way beyond that of a
Commander's Role.
That's a Pastoral Role, and at that, with the Parents fully involved so we
don't end up with situations like I just described...
