If real food was grown, that was healthy and safe a "Burger" would cost you $12 each! Most of what we "Buy" is garbage! USDA safety recommendations may in fact allow for hazardous levels of fat content, and other un-needed product being sold in our US meat. The animals on feed lots are not allowed to graze on grass or live a "natural" life as God intended a cow to live<G> Chickens are raised in pens and never touch the ground... the result is food that is produced by unknown feed content, sometimes the by-product of Beer industry and dead livestock. This speaker says that in LA Calif. Dead cats and dogs are turned into feed for beef.. I'm 47 and my cholesterol LDL level is at 277 and I'm on a medication for that and for Blood pressure control following a minor "cardiac event"... I've never seen a Burger I didn't eat with plenty of mayo and fries! There's never been a Pizza made with too much cheese for me..! Gimme a tall galss of cold BUTTERMILK! Spuds!Biscuts and country sausage gravy! I like my Latte' with the real deal... not "skinny" You see- I'm in "love" with fatty food and if I was eating what I thought.. I was eating.. I might be ok! The TRUTH is that we do not know what is in that Burger King patty! > > Jesus ate fish. John the Baptizer wore a leather belt. God explicitly > allows us to eat meat (see Genesis, Acts). Praise God- Tonight we are dinning palestinian at the church<G> *report tommorrow<G> ...and I know about dominion thinking over the animals and earth. Maybe the thinking should change to what is in the Ranger handbook and that we "Conserve" our natural world and it's resources as well as be good stewards of the blessings we receive from the food we eat! That means eating right, and a balanced diet... > Sometimes we should limit our > diet for the sake of someone with a weak conscience (i. e. meat offered to > idols, pork when witnessing to Jews or Muslims, etc.). > > Worry is bad for your health and is, in fact, a sin -- same for gluttony. I'm guity-Guilty! FCF is loaded with good people stuffed with dead fatty animal product<G> ...we even "pride" ourselves on this pre modern view of healthy food... I've never butchered a Beef.. But I have "harvested" chickens and rabbits.. and it didn't fuel me to over eat them.. When I shop for steak, I want it big thick and red! I throw it on the grill, and burn it! The fat drips out and makes my Bar-b-q reek of grease... *What kind of fool am I to think this is "Healthy?"
