The winter season is coming to an end, and what is coming is a
"greening" time.

*Springtime for Rangers!

For way to long Royal Ranger leaders have "claimed" poverty of
resources,
ideas and *program... and that is currently being addressed.. a "New"
revised
program is in bloom..

Beware of getting what you "ask for!" for the *poverty may then be
shifted to
you, and your ability to facilitate a planned meeting.... The plan may
lead to
requiring you to stretch more than your comfort zone is able<G>

The "preview" I've seen has the meeting broken into "segments" with
suggestions along the way for activities ect. *This means MORE WORK
for your BRAIN in leading an effective Royal Ranger meeting than
"throwing
in a basketball"... or saying: "Now Listen-up!"

. I'm afraid not everyone "willing" is the best qualifyed for the job of

Commander.. and under the present way of selecting leadership...
(*Check for breathing... pulse... your hired!) *I'm right<G>

*YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
----------------------------------------

*Let's look at this another way-

Amongst you boys who want to come- are boys who do not know what
they are doing, why they are at Rangers or why they should care about
earning a pin or award.. Leaders are just about the same<G>

To this we bring a "Leader" who assumes that a structure will support or

bail him out of a tight spot<G> *when it becomes apparent that his
"ministry"
isn't what he thought it would be..it is in fact HARD WORK...
That man finds that his work or another church job needs him more than
the job of "Commander" and he "bails"...though he says he was "Led to
go"...

If we were paid "merit" pay for success in our Jobs as Leaders..

I'd rig it this way, I'd want the smartest and most eager Royal Rangers
to be in my Outpost as they would be "easy" to teach...

I would not want to be alone, but to hire and train Rangers to
"take over" my job and let me do what God called me to do!

*To Relax and enjoy myself...<G>

Royal Rangers was ment to bless us, not "BURDEN US" or lead to broken
promises and poverty of spirit! Shake off those heavy chains!

The new program is going to come and allow us to re-think re-vise and
re-shape
our thoughts and roles from "Business as Usual" and move us along to a
powerful
new effort in soul winning and character development.

*Don't freeze up in the WINTER!
Let the sunshine and spring re-fresh your vision and commitment to Reach
Teach and Keep boys for Christ!
