If this subject interests anyone I can tell you from personal experience
that understanding personality styles can be helpful in all sorts of
relationships. It can be particularly helpful in figuring out how to make a
fellow worker who has a different personality style feel appreciated and
valued. I recommend any book by Florence Littauer, but especially
"Personality Plus" or "Personality Puzzle : Understanding the People You
Work With." She and her family have a whole ministry based on this subject.
