I like to find treasure<G>

Treasure like "art" is in the eye of the beholder<G>

Sometimes a castoff becomes a "major score" or something
that was once loved, becomes unwanted and is set aside for
less than it's full value... sometimes it's your "knoledge" of
just knowing what it is when others don't!

Cdr.Jen and I was down on the Oregon beach last weekend, and
down the strand was something that looked for all the world
like an old rusted iron box, just setting out in the open!

The "box" might have been full gold! *Just a short walk from
where we stood could have had us bust open a treasure box
with one of the many rocks laying around, and find enough gold
to never have to work another day in this life!<G>

*Sure it "might" be empty... But you NEVER KNOW!
Treasure hunting requires us to 'see things with different eyes
and under the rust, grime and dirt put on from neglect, we
can rescue a "treasure" and give it new life by putting it
to work for us!

We walked slow up the beach....

...and the closer we came the more this silly "box" started to
take the shape of a driftwood stump!<G>

Was "I" disappointed?

<G> Royal Rangers is a lifetime adventure!
You must be ready for anything! ready to work, play
serve or treasure hunt!~
