We went on a TNT trip with a bunch of GMA recipients last summer through the
area. Our itinery was basically:
White Sands (lots of detour you can take in this area for pretty drives -
just have a full tank before leaving civilization)
Petrified Forest
White River A/G - Robert Jimenez - Apache Indian Res. (FCF)
The big crater on the way to Grand Canyon (name???)
Head to Four Corners (lots of roadside FCF shoping on the way)
Royal Gorge and rafting (either Brown's canyon or the Gorge)
Garden of the Gods (CO Springs)
Seven Falls (Co Springs)
Air Force Academy (on way to Denver)
Casa Bonita in Denver (not the best Mex food but the kids will love it)
