Yes John. I used to do it as a Jehovahs Witness. My personal opinion is
witness to others as you go. Where ever God sends you. At work, Clubs,
Royal Rangers, School just to name a few. I don't know that Jesus went
door to door knocking like the Momans and Jehovah's Witness do.
I have seen people standing on the street corners shouting down helfire
and brimstone and calling people to repent. The only thing it ever did
for me was to get me to change to the opposite side of the street to
avoid the noise.
Today we are lead by the Holy Spirit. If you feel God is in this Street
Witnessing and the Spirit of God is urging you on then keep on keep on
for Jesus. Each of us have a different method. Not everyone preferes one
method over another. For some Street Ministries may be the only method
they can be reached by.
Weather wise. It is a bit different. Perhaps those you call on will be
more open to hear what you have to say when it is freezing cold outside
and they know your out there because you care even in less than pleasant
circumstances. In this case you can get more doors to open. But for the
most part expect what you have been getting in the nice weather.
