I would like to advise whoever has a real sense to see what kind of net
this is and to drop out of it. I am.
I'm tired of receiving e-mail that indirectly or sometimes brazenly
insulting and mocking of others (Christians) on this net. I guess this
is a way to get rid of those who don't fit their mode.
I thought this net was to discuss Royal Rangers and for "Christian
Fellowship".
What I found is a "few" who "dominate" the net would rather argue,
contradict, combat and (again) mock.
I had some great discussions, but have found very little value in this
forum.
I came up here to learn. And in ways I have. I learned that there are
Christians (U.S. and ABROAD) who water down or sway from the Christian
life, or their fruit is beginning to rot.
This is evident in their words; such as worldly, leftist, PROGRESSIVE
(yes I said PROGRESSIVE again), arguments. Not to say the bitterness
towards those (including their own parents) in their past who wanted to
live a HOLY LIFE and chose to stay away from those things that would
bring them down.
How about those who would boast about the Boys Scouts as being a cut
above Royal Rangers. They spend more time talking about the virtues of
BSA instead of RRs.
Commitment to purity, sanctification, and holiness are not looked at as a
virtue but a trap of the 'flesh' - that is, trying to do things by ones
own strength. That is not the case, we live a holy dedicated life to
Jesus because we are GRATEFUL for His gift of Grace and eternal Life.
I am ashamed at what I see. I see too many who would rather compromise
their faith than to LIVE IT! In my 23 years of being a 'born again'
christian have I seen anything like this. NO, not to this extent.
Am I being JUDGMENTAL. You be the "JUDGE".
In the end, all will remain the same. You will justify or even throw
your hands in the air and say, "what did I do". You'll point the finger
back at me and my words instead of looking in your own hearts.
And then RangernNet will forget and will continue as if nothing has been
said.
WHO IS THE "MASTER" OF THIS NET? I PLEAD WITH YOU BROTHERS AND SISTERS,
SEARCH YOUR HEARTS AND HEAR WHAT I'M SAYING. I KNOW THIS IS SPIRITUAL,
IT IS REAL TO ME RIGHT NOW AS I WRITE TO YOU.
REAL PRAYER, REAL COMMITTMENT, I SEE THE FOLLY OF NOT JUST YOURS BUT
MINE. JESUS, FORGIVE US.
To Michael, Little John, Kerry and others, I say thank you for being a
witness on this net. Keep up the good work and keep those who stray -
held accountable.
