There are two kinds of offense taken: offenses intended, and offenses not intended.
Love always believes the best of the person who caused the offense, not attributing
malicious intentions where other explanations will do as well. I don't know who you
think is trying to get rid of you, but I most certainly am not. If you want to go, go
in peace, but you are welcome back at any time.

You were right. It is. Unfortunately, we are really short on truly perfect Christians,
here. We are, however, forgiven and seeking God's righteousness... just like that
group of people at your church.

What one man sees as an attempt to restore balance in love might easily be perceived
by another as some sort of combat. I have seen little mockery on this net, and when I
have, I generally rebuke whoever doled it out. Simply holding an opposing viewpoint
and expressing it within the confines of Christian love and reasonable interpretation
of the Scriptures is not mocking, nor is it combat.

I think you misunderstand, if you have been reading the same messages I have. I much
prefer Royal Rangers in lots of ways, but I don't think that anyone who objectively
considers the situation would think that we can't learn a few things from our brothers
in the BSA.

I invite you to engage in self-examination by your own standards and/or by the Word of
God, but I'm not interested in judging you, at this point. If what you say has merit,
it might possibly have a positive effect on someone. If it is just an undeserved
"venting" of some sort, it will run off of wise people's backs like water off of a
duck's back, and the same wise people will be quick to forgive you. If you condemn
people of things you, yourself, are guilty of, then you condemn yourself.
