Report! Theme: Building Bridges Today for Tommarrow.
We had a great time! I had the privledge to host his event at Coopers
Farm just south of Nixa MO. We had a 8 code 1/4 mile torch lit walk to
our council fire. A 4 foot council fire with dry cedar logs, It was
lighted by 4 torches that stood for the 4 cardinal docterines of the
church and each tourch came together to light the top of the council
fire. Song service with guitar, skit of david and goliath with Modern
day weapons and a modern day twist..written by challengers. Great
devotion with a story of two brothers by Rob Batchman. "Building Bridges
Today for Tommarrow"

of the lamb. Some will be busy
looking over their properties, others will be spending time with their
wife. Others will be checking out the Bull.
In the same light I am thankfull for those that did come and those that
were too busy just plain out missed out.
These Chruches came and great Glory was given to God!

We gave ribbons for
Bike Race 1st 2nd and 3rd place.
Each boy was timed going over a dirt track that was built for
motocross racing over ramps, banks curves etc. Best time won. Next time
we will break it down into Age Groups. The boys enjoyed it and we only
had one face first tore up the track wipe out by our SW Div. Commander.
He hit hard but after we cleaned him up he still looked pretty good so
we kept him off of the stretcher. I would amagine he is sore today. We
love him.

One match soap soda can boil. 10 boys chopped up a cedar log 10" long
and built a fire with the split and shaved portions of this and then made
a A frame fire then built it up to boil a can of soapy water to boil out
the top. This took some boys 45 minutes. Hatchet, spliting mall, and
pocket knifes and a box of matches and a dry dry dry cedar log 10"
around. 10" sections Good event.
Rope Making machine. Boys made a 6 strand rope from binder twine and
kept a 10' section of rope.
Our outpost lashed 10 tri pods and put up over 200' of cedar tripod
fence, Lashed a 18foot tall entry way boy scout style(that is where I
got the book of ideas our challengers picked the one to lash and they
lashed it and we raised it up) The week before we went to the woods and
harvest 50 to 70 22' long cedar trees for this event. The challengers
also said the latrine lashing project was not stable.... I argued with
them until I built one myself... we modified it to hold. After it was all
said and done I told them your right it is a pour design. We made 2 that
would hold the biggest guys.
Everyone will get a Pow Wow Patch of a Fox.
Cost was only 6.00 per registration.
Each Ranger was also given a box of candy and everyone had a great time.
Reporting.
The boys when I was driving the bus back to Church were so fired up and
excited about this campout. My hope was to do our very best for our Div
and our Lord.
Those that missed this Pow Wow. We missed you.
