Hi Commanders,
Yesterday, our outpost has our monthly Commanders meeting, where we sit
with the Snr. Cmdr. & Councilmen to discuss on issues related to each
outpost, also to plan any joint activities. Also, a time to share and
encourage, or sometime to correct each other.

My Snr. Cmdr., Peter Lim, poured out his heart. He said that he had been
praying daily, and feel that if a outpost want a breakthrough, the
commanders/leaders must have personal breakthrough with God. This really
challenge me. And he also said that he has been sharing to his wife, and
praying for her. Not just pray for protection and work, but for
spiritual matter, and for her to walk closer to God. This really shocked
me up. I had been lazy in doing my quiet time (confession!!!), and I
have not seek God together with my wife. My wife was sitting next to me,
and I knew that God speaking to me on this. Also, Peter said that a
stickyard that can help us to measure our spiritual walk (he is not
using this to measure anyone, but to challenge) is when was the last
time we share Chirst, or lead someone to Christ. When was the last time
we have a fire in our heart to share Chirst, even we are talking
business, work or study with people? We should have the urgency, the
desire and the fire to share the good news, offcause with the guidance
of Holy Spirit. This did weak me up.

I am going back to Him, to have a breakthrough in Him. I realise that
God want to use all His children to do great things for Him, to spread
His WORD.

I just want to share this with you that we must have a right
relationship with God, A close and fervent one. I hope this will
encourage and challenge you.

in Christ,
Steve Yap
