Mike, I've been diabetic for almost 18 years, (Nov 1981). It's often inconvenient, however, You can live a pretty normal life if you play by the rules. 1. Test your blood regularly. Before each meal and at bedtime. 2. Take your medication. I take 3 shots a day being a type I diabetic. 3. Eat what you should at regular times. I eat breakfast at 7:00 am, lunch for me is early at 10:30 am, dinner is at 4:30pm and snack before bed. Each meal is about 50 carbohydrates and snack is 10. 4. Keep in touch with your endocrinologist. Diabetes is doable! == David Bishop /~~\\ , , , Outpost 55 |#===||==========#***| Washington, NJ \__// ` ` _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
