Dear Rangernetters-- My step-son, Sean, is attending a spiritual renewal weekend in Ohio this weekend. At one point in the retreat, those who attend receive mail from family, friends, and even total strangers. The theme of the weekend is about "agape love." I'm looking for some people to write letters of encouragement to Sean...letters that express the love of God from other Christians. I know that doesn't give you alot to go on, but if the Lord speaks to you to do this, please share as you will. It would be greatly appreciated. Today, I sang at the funeral of a 17 year old boy who used to be in my Trailblazer group. It seems that Rangers was his main source of spiritual encouragement and teaching. Thank God for those times around council fires when the Lord really moved in Ryan's heart. Ryan and Sean were good friends. And with this funeral today and everything, I'm more determined than ever to inundate my son with these letters expressing the love of God for him through other Christians. Okay, I'll quit rambling... Thanks and blessing to you all, David B. North ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) P.S. You can just e-mail the letters and I'll put them in envelopes and deliver them to the retreat coordinators. _______ To unsubscribe, send "unsubscribe rangernet" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] "Eat the hay & spit out the sticks!"
