Napoleon thought he could be great because he founded a kingdom of
force. Perhaps it's worth listening to his words of warning at the end
of his life. Napoleon said, "Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne and I have
founded empires. But on what did we rest the creations of our genius?
Upon force. Jesus Christ alone founded His empire upon love. And at
this hour millions of men would die for Him."

Jesus said, "My Kingdom is not of this world. If My Kingdom were of
this world, then would My servants fight, that I should not be delivered
to the Jews; but now is My Kingdom not from hence." (John 18:6)

Perhaps you've been too busy trying to "force" circumstances or people
to go your way. We havee been called to serve a King who is not of this
world. We have been called to love our neighbors, co-workers, peers and
family with an unconditional love.

May the love of Jesus renew our minds and hearts.
