Yest got up, real early for a Saturday, after a restless night caused by
envy, yep.
After that bad experience last night when an "Internal Server Error" cut me
off from my buddies.
Rick, Soeren Holst, all gone in the wind.
Envy crept up my sleeves when I thought of the world going by me on Cyber
Powwow.
Tried to fix'er with fix'n a fix'n meal, kidney beans, big onion. vinegar,
oil (15W-40), salt, peppa.
Slept with open winder fer sure, consider'n me mate resting in her berth
next to me ship.
Tossed and turned.

Thanks Duane for transporting me into another world. This is like good
counselling for older human beings wearing a big beard. Too bad that the top
don't allow a pony tail. Them daize are gone.

*I'm completely carried away by a book I picked up off
the discout table, .. a journal of a Dad and 14 year
old son flying around the USA in a 1942 stillson bi-plane.

Beautiful, can hear then roar of the engine.
Sometimes I dream of the days when Super Connies were crossing overhead with
that deep fine thunder of four compound engines filling the air ( I
breathed ) . Demonstrating finely tuned and harnessed power.

"Dad" is a former A6 Indruder driver who flew off the USS Enterprise
CVA 65 in 1972 Vietnam yankee station.. (Been there<G>)

Thank God you made it through that event.
You are a real blessing to us, Duane.
God knew beforehand.

"Son" is 14 with a gameboy on the knee and finds flying thru the clouds
and accross the land "old hat boreing".....<g>

Yeah and us landblubbers would give anything if we could jest touch a spot
of oil on any plane from F-4 upwards.

*It flys at about 75 to 100mph and is a "taildragger"....
meaning one wheel is on the tail...

DC-3, or me.

  *Lets take off! Rrrrrrrrrrrrroar!

Where in the world do you want to go?<G>

Read a story ( with enough pictures for me to catch on to the drift ) about
a guy who had built out a Sikorsky S-63 ??? into a camper. And there they
showed him with his family sitting outside the chopper at a picnic table on
top of some mountain that has not been named yet somewhere in the High
Sierras.
Way to go !

*Your flying!
-=A=-

Have good day !
