Dear Fellow Commanders:
Today it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that I have to leave
the Rangernet. Over the past year it has been really fun and educational
meeting Royal Rangers from all over the USA and other countries. For me, I
will be stepping out of the ministry all together for a while. Today I lost
my job. My wife has also become unemployed. Decisions have to be made and
costs have to be cut, so the computer access is naturally going to be one of
the first things to go. My job loss was due to my getting Diabetes back in
January. This was not really a fault or something that I was able to help.
Though I am a diabetic, I am as perfectly healthy as a diabetic can be and I
can work, however the Dept. Of Transportation has rules that prevent me from
doing so. I find that until I can get a new job, I have to pull up my stakes
and reorganize. I can only be thankful that I don't have any kids to put
through what I'm going through right now.
I'm going to have to plug back in maybe when I have kids of my own or when
things get better. I just want you all to know that you have been tremendous
company and friends. For the computer It will cease operations very soon. If
