Lord;
It is with a heavy heart that we come before You. I lift-up
before you Mike and his wife, Lord. You know the pain, the
grief and the trials that they are going thru. Lord, You
are the only one that is able to supply all their needs.
You, Lord, are their shield and their buckler. You, Lord,
have all authority and all power to give without ceasing to
these your servants. Forget them not, Lord. Do not turn
Your face from them in their time of need.
If, oh Lord, You have taken them out of their circumstances
to get their attention and to teach them of the great and
mighty things of the Lord; then I pray, oh Lord, that they
would learn quickly, that they would take this/these
lesson(s) and they would be seared on their hearts and in
their minds, that they would not forget the ways of the
Lord. Grow them. Nurture them. That even in this time, a
time that seems to be of the greatest darkness, Your light
would shine into and thru them, oh Lord.
Your mercies are great, Lord. Your love for these Your
children is without limit, Lord. Lord, You know these needs
better than any of us, but we are here to speak these things
into existence.
As it says in Your Word, Lord, we are to come boldly before
Your throne.
All, Rangers present and accounted for, Lord. We stand
before you, Lord, in full Class A and/or dress uniform, to
present a list of needs on behalf of Royal Ranger Commander
Mike Burke and his wife.
Lord, Commander Mike needs a job, not just any job, but, a
job that pays well, so he can support his family, his local
church & missionary ministries and Your Outpost, Lord. This
needs to be a job of high pay, no weekend or night-time
hours and gives him great latitude because of the diabetes.
The job needs to be close to his home and his
church/Outpost, no long commutes. When he leaves work at
quitting time he's done until the next work day begins. No
taking work home, no working nights or weekends. His free
time is free time to support his family, Rangers and his
church. One that has great benefits, to care for his
diabetes and anything else he may require. And may he find
great favor in the eyes of You and his employer. Mike's
wife (You know her name, Lord) needs a job. Not just any
job, but a job with good pay, good hours, good benefits,
close to home so there are no long commutes, one with an
understanding employer so she can take care of Mike if and
when his illness or any other circumstance requires it. I
pray that during this time that their marriage would go
stronger, bind them together, Lord, closer and closer, so
that they truly are one. Lord, I have mentioned Mike's
illness, diabetes we call it. Lord, as you have done for
me, I pray that You will take Mike's body, not only cure the
illness, but, cure any condition that may have caused the
illness. Bring order to Mike's body, Lord. Bring it under
control such that Mike not only is cured, but, the doctor(s)
who treat him say "Not only do you not have diabetes, but we
find no evidence that you ever had diabetes!" To which Mike
will reply, "GIVE GOD THE GLORY."
Lord, I pray that Mike would lay his body, his Diabetes, his
marriage and his job needs on the altar and give everything
into Your hands, oh Lord. Lord, that his wife would do the
same. That they would renew and affirm their commitment to
You, Lord. May they see that you have not taken them into
the desert to destroy them, but rather to build them, to
have them listen even harder to You, and to depend more
fully on You, to draw ever closer to You, oh, my Lord, my
Savior, my Redeemer.
Unto You, oh Lord, do we commend the care and nurturing of
these our brother and sister. Keep them, protect them,
nurture them, grow them. And even if we never see or hear
from them again this side of Heaven, Lord, we know that
their care is total and complete in Your hands.
And unto You, Lord, do we give all honor, all glory, all
praise, all worship.
You and You alone are worthy, Lord.
We thank-you for the time we have had together and we look
forward to hearing good reports of Mike and his wife.
As it says in Your Word, Lord, we are to come boldly before
Your throne and this we do.
All Rangers present and accounted for. We stand before you,
Lord, in full Class A and/or dress uniform. (There are no
slackers in the throne room) We have presented this list of
needs on behalf of Royal Ranger Commander Mike Burke.

|Dear Fellow Commanders:
|
|Today it is with great sadness that I have to inform you
that I have to leave
|the Rangernet. Over the past year it has been really fun
and educational
|meeting Royal Rangers from all over the USA and other
countries. For me, I
|will be stepping out of the ministry all together for a
while. Today I lost
|my job. My wife has also become unemployed. Decisions
have to be made and
|costs have to be cut, so the computer access is naturally
going to be one of
|the first things to go. My job loss was due to my getting
Diabetes back in
|January. This was not really a fault or something that I
was able to help.
|Though I am a diabetic, I am as perfectly healthy as a
diabetic can be and I
|can work, however the Dept. Of Transportation has rules
that prevent me from
|doing so. I find that until I can get a new job, I have to
pull up my stakes
|and reorganize. I can only be thankful that I don't have
any kids to put
|through what I'm going through right now.
| I'm going to have to plug back in maybe when I have kids
of my own or when
|things get better. I just want you all to know that you
have been tremendous
|company and friends. For the computer It will cease
operations very soon. If
|you would like to write me via snail mail, here is my
address:
|
|Michael Burke
|4116 Southway LN# 17
|Triangle VA 22172
|
|Brethren, please hold my wife and I in your prayers. I'm
going to miss all of
|you!
|
|Blessings,
|
|Mike
