My kids, like other kids, are concerned about the tragedy in Colorado.
They have come home and told me what they would do IF that ever happened
here. Unforturnately I couldn't promise it would never happen here, but
I could tell them that I pray the blood of Jesus over them everyday and I
pray that God places His guardian angels around them. I also told them
that if it isn't God's will for them to die then God will protect them.
That doesn't mean they won't be confronted by death, but God will send
an army of angels to protect them. We need to stand our ground and when
God speaks to us in that still small voice and says something isn't right
or you shouldn't be in a certain place then you better listen. Look at
Job. God let satan do what he wanted, but He put a limit on death.

What happened in Colorado was not an act of God, but of satan, and with
everything satan throws in our path, God teaches us lesson. It takes a
tragedy to bring people together, GOD WILL PREVAIL IN THE END and satan
will be defeated.

Father, help us look beyond the senseless tragedy and see the lesson you
want us to learn.
We've already learned that we need to make a decision to follow you now,
not tomorrow, because tomorrow may not come. Is this the lesson we need
to see? Forgive us.
