Duane:

Obedience comes in many shapes and sizes. I cannot begin to count the times
I have ignored the prompting of the Holy Spirit even here on Rangernet. I
would say that I have probably been subscribed for close to three years. I
know I have been subscribed for nearly three years as I am just shy of being
three years old in Christ (and how many of us can forget our birthdays!).
My point being that I have lurked for a very long time and ignored the
promptings I have had to give a word of encouragement or even join in the
banter. I feel I know you, that I know your heart, though we have never
met. I want you to know that I love you, my brother, and I will pray for
you as I pray for myself, that we can be obedient and accountable. That we
can be in His perfect will. That those in authority over us, whether they
be spiritual leaders, or political leaders, or employers, or whatever also
have wisdom and be in His perfect will.

The lusts of the flesh and the pride of life are difficult obstacles to
overcome. I often forget in my own self righteousness that we "all fall
short." That none are perfect. Isn't it wonderful that we are covered by
grace? From one "big kid" to another be encouraged that His will will be
done.

God bless,
John
