This is one of those things that you say will "never happen to me". My
prayers and sympathies are with all the families and churches in that area.
Our Royal Rangers, and many others in the Southern Missouri District, will
be heading for our District Pow-wow this week(we leave Thursday). Please
pray that God will protect us and bring us all back safely.
I am reminded of James 4:14 -- "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the
morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a
little time, and then vanisheth away."
Let this be a wakeup call! Commanders - If this happened to your outpost,
would your boys be with you in Heaven?
I pray that nobody else will have to go through what our brothers in
California are going through with this tragedy.
