Dear Mr. Wheeler:
I have moved to RR Gold and have been getting your messages.
They are a blessing to me and I save most of them in my Ranger File but this
one I like and think I will print it and share it with some of the commanders
in my outpost and congregation.
As I read this message I was asking myself where I need to improve. I have
been trying to implement the patrol system with Buckaroos who are mostly soon
to be Pioneers. They were with us at Pow Wow and I am proud of how they
pitched in and worked with the older boys as a team. I hope that I was seeing
the fruits of my labor.
I have one boy in my Buckaroos that loves to come to Rangers but has a
difficult home life. I can disciple him at Ranger events and he desires to be
with me, but it seems as if his home environment undoes what I accomplish with
him at club time. I need to get him to take what I teach him at meetings home
with him. Pray for me and this boy.
