Excellent response Duane, with only one question. If the color guard is
holding the flags with both hands, how can they salute. Unless they post
the colors immediately after they present them, both hands must stay on the
flag staff. They should recite the pledges with everyone else.

*Yes! When carried down an asile as in a color guard Old Glory is
to it's
own right.. with other flags. *When posted it should be on the
right of
the speaker, and that requires it to cross as it reaches the end of
the
colorguard's march down the asile.
*Another thing missed by most is to require the Color Guard itself
to
salute the flags.
Work out the commands *before hand with the Color Guard!
*Be sure everyone understands what is going on, and no one will mess
up.
Pick one resource as a guide and stick to it even if some "Expert"
come's
