While I was a Sr. Commander I wouldn't accept a staff position.  I was
taught from a young age if your going to do something do it right. 
Having 5 titles and neglecting each of them for the other is not doing
anyone a favor.  Do one job right and if you have time take on
another..but only if you are doing the first job as it should be done.  

I got a call from my Pastor yesterday.  He thanked me for the years of
service and for doing a good job and we talked about  the right man to
fill in the void.  We also talked about the Area Commanders position and
he said we never saw a Area Commander in our Church have we?  No, I
repilied just some phone calls.  He said you wont' do it that way will
you?  Not if I can help it.   

Each aspect of the Chain of Command is important. From the Patrol guides
to the National Commander. If anyone of these neglect thier duties then
that group looses something.  It is important to me to do the job right
as unto the Lord.  

I am still learning so allow me to trip and fall down.  That is how I
learn.  GRIN!
