You sound like my Senior Commander. Paul Robinson. We do the
same thing each school term and it works well. If Paul is called
away, Mark and myself can keep going because we know what
has to be done. We also have a "Fun Night" where the boys go
bowling or do something away from the Outpost.
As for the uniform question, what I do in my Patrol is to wear my
inform each week, making sure it is clean and neatly ironed. I then
encourage the boys to set the example for the others. This is
working. Through a lot of hard work and prayer, my Patrol has
become the best Patrol in the Outpost. The reason for this success
is simple, I allow the Holy Spirit to control what I say and do. So it
is something I can not claim for myself, but as a victory for the
Lord. Why, because I am training leaders of the future and I've
found that using the Patrol system is the best way to raise them
up. When I have to disciple a boy, I always look for the positive to
correct negitive behaviour. I am dedicated to my boys and only
want the best for them. So far this year each boy has completed,
or nearly completed 2 ratings.
Sucess comes to those who are on their knees for the boys.

There's a storm coming, our Storm.
