Yah know how all them' Ranger ballcaps with plastic snapperz say "One size
fits all?"
That's a lie.. pure and simple, they don't!
I tend to have to hook the LAST HOLE.. and walk around with a dinky
cap and a open back side the size of Texas<G>
XL seems snug to me.. and I've come to know that 7 5/8 is my size if
I sport a haircut<G> *When I'm in my WINTER PRIME 7 3/4 is not too large.
*OK so... when make'n furry hats..
I use this rule.. BIG HAT! BIG CRITTER!
It's of some surprise to discover that I needed 2 coons fer my
fur hat.. and sort of wound them around and stuck one's tail
up it's open mouth.. and draped the second across the top..
all laid out like the Queen of Sheba!
Y'all kin foller' the di-rect-shuns.. *But I also made a mighty fine
Cyote' hat like this:
Drape the dog over yur head.. so's his feet hang down yur sideburns
like Elvis!
Yu'll find yur goona need to split the dog open in the chest with yur
skinn'n knife. Make the slit small and work it bigger to yur completely
inside the dog's chest<G> *pile up his neck like a "Z" fold.. and lay his
face in mid forehead of yur new doggy hat.
Pinch the piled fur togather and run a spike thru.. followed by a leather
strip with a bone bead at each end... *Cinch... tie off and *Enjoy!
Come over to my Tipi next summer at Ronde'hoopty-do and show it off<G>
