Dear Duane,
Yesterday we had a Gold-Bar meeting for our Poineer Boys. It has
been decided that each term (about 10 weeks, we run to School
terms here) the patrol that has had the most advancements, done
well in the Pre-meeting quiz and general attitude of the patrol will
be awarded Star Patrol for the term. They will be given points for
these areas. At the end of the Year the Patrol with the most points
will be awarded the Mitch Silver Trophy.
The boys will be told the story Mitch and what he did. It is this way
we honour a fellow Ranger who laid down his life for others.
There's a storm coming, our Storm.
