Rocky Mountain outpost 207 policy is to NOT make boys choose between Royal
Rangers and Youth. We schedule meetings and activities such that they CAN
do both -- and some do. We have a GREAT youth group
(http://planetyouth.org) and GROWING Royal Rangers
(http://rangernet.org/207). To make this possible, we had Trailblazers on
Monday nights for a while. Right now, we have Trailblazers on Wednesday
nights before the youth group meets.
Why compete with the youth group when you can cooperate?
I know that not every church has the manpower and resources to make this
work well, but by the grace of God, we do, and it does solve some problems.
Remember the objective: reaching, teaching, and keeping boys and girls for
Jesus Christ!
