To add a little bit to what Michael has already said pertaining to number 4
above. I have sometimes found it useful to forward the offensive e-mail to
"abuse@*******"" or "postmaster@*****" where the ****** is the domain name
that the e-mail was sent from - found in the headers. If the e-mail actually
came from someone with that service provider (the domain name) they will
usually do something to help stop the SPAM. Of course it helps if you
explain that the e-mail was unsolicited and why it offended you but remember
- BE NICE. Most service providers hate SPAMMERS as much as we do.
