Thanks for your input Duane. I understand what you're saying and where you are coming from. I argued with my grandmother once and found myself sliding across the kitchen floor. Then the spanking started! The exploding book is a simple magic trick. There is a lighter inside the book and a wick that is saturated in lighter fluid. When the book is opened, you spark the lighter and the lighter fluid sends flames out of the book. Mine had flames about 3 feet high! Safety note - wash your hands after putting lighter fluid in. I still had some fluid on my thumb and it lit as well.. Didn't hurt me, but sure did add to the effect!
