I was just in the area in the first of August and I could see how flooding
could be a problem. I notice many areas was a marsh. ( I went to Jamestown
and all I could see was it  was surounded by swamp, No wonder the Pilgriams
had a rough time and moved north to Williamsburg higher ground.)
