Several of you have inquired back-channel as to my current status in Rangers
since our transfer from OP 207 to OP 354. OP 354 has a fine young man
serving as Buckaroo Cdr and they also have a Straight Arrow leader. Since my
son is now of Challenger age and no longer a Buckaroo, I feel that my
service now has ended as Buckaroo leader. Also I am no longer serving on the
Section as a result of my new "retired" status.

Although I am still sorting out hurt feelings over the demise of OP 207, I
realize that God did bless our work there. One should never be ashamed of
honest labor in God's fields. I put forth my best effort and reaped for the
Lord what I could during the time HE assigned me there. Since we now attend
another church, I am still sorting out my feelings and trying to make a new
beginning. (although phone calls from Buckaroo parents on my voice mail from
OP 207 pleading for my return does not help much).

I had an opportunity to teach a class a few weeks ago in Seattle for the
first Northwest District RR Council for Buckaroo and Straight Arrow leaders.
I met our new US National Cmdr. of which I have high hopes and aspirations
for. He has quite a task in front of him, but to his credit God has given
him vision and foresight. Keep him and his family in your thoughts and
prayers.

Be assured that I will not have to guess or be confused about prudent moves
or as Duane calls it Divine Interruptions from God. God promises that HE
will give instruction and input when needed. So I wait upon the Lord to
renew my strength and guide my way -

Keep us in your prayers,
your sister in Christ

Jen
