Hello everyone!
I am asking for guidance and prayer in regard to reaching more boys and
furthering LTC training.
All of the commanders in our OP are studying the LTC manual. We meet every
Sunday morning and go over it together. We are only in the first section.
I am wanting prayer over a plan I have. I have already prayed over it and
have gotten the OK from our Assoc. Pastor and Sr CMDR. I am planning on
going door to door in a five block radius of our church and hanging plastic
door hanger bags with RR pamphlets and a personalized letter from myself with
a survey of sorts to find out the interests of the neighborhood boys and to
hopefully set a telephone or in person (group) meeting to explain Royal
Rangers and make an invitation.
Also I realize not every household will have boys or boys only so I have
invited the lady who runs Missionettes to get something similar together for
the young ladies of the community and told her I would put it in the bags
with the RR info and be happy to distribute it for both our groups.
If anyone has any ideas about what type of questions to ask in the "survey"or
has done this type of thing before and has any suggestions on how to make it
successful I would appreciate any input. And I definitely would be grateful
for the blessings of prayer over it.
