I heard this on one of Dr. Dobsons programs of Focus on the Family and I modified it to fit Rangers. The punishment is to take them out of the room away from their buddies. The next best place is a place where they will hear God's word being preached. Either way you look at this as punishment or a better alternative the result is the same. It will make them stop and think about what they are doing and decide for themselves if they would rather be in with their friends in Rangers or in Church Service. If you follow the Ranger Plan for a successful meeting you are right there will be little cause to disipline. However, I have been in RR meetings where no matter what you did you couldn't conduct anything due to a few disrupters. 1. Bring a snack and tell all they will recieve this snack at the end of the meeting unless they get their name up on the board. Then tell them if they get 2 check marks next to their name then they will be moved from the outpost into the church service. If someone is acting up don't call them out just write their name up on the board, if they continue on with the disruptions put a check mark next to it and carry on. On Dobsons program the teachers, sunday school teachers said rarely do you have anyone go past 1 check mark. Don't let one or two boys distrupting stop the rest of the outpost from learning about Rangers and Jesus. This works.
