Hi All,
Tonight's Ranger's went OK, but I had a little problem about this Pokemon
thing. The boys don't see anything wrong with it (they know that I see
plenty wrong with it)
Tonight they ended prayer with "Pokemon is cool" instead of in Jesus name. I
am a little perturbed by this. I have briefed my Pastor on the Pokemon
thing. The boys think I'm pooping the party, but to me that is one party
that needs to be pooped.
No Pokemon died on no cross for me. No Pokemon didn't forgive my sins, No
Pokemon can offer me Salvation. No Pokemon will come to Rangers as it is
disruptive to the group and it will be given to the Child's parents. They
will know that it is not allowed during our meetings. I can't control it
anywhere else. But I can pray for them. I'm going to be stern on this and
I'm taking the "Stand" as our Lord instructed us to in Revelations. The
Devil is going to try to use this silly little dumb thing to get to me, but
through education and prayer, it will be overcome.
If all of those who have made a bonfire out of their Pokemons would
please e-mail me with the reasons it was done, I would greatly appreciate it.
