What happened here was that we were praying and everything was going fine
and then instead of closing in the way the Lord taught by invoking His name,
They said "Pokemon is cool" I let them know that God didn't hear that prayer
because it wasn't to Him, it was to that stupid little dumb thing called
Pokemon.
Satan comes as an Angel of Light, but he is not, he will try to deceive
us in whatever way he can. "I don't see anything wrong with it" this
attitude is lame because, to Most it is Just like the Santa, Easter
Bunny/tooth fairy thing, all lies wrapped up in new packaging. Do we need to
sit by and allow our kids to be lied to by the Devil? "It's for the Kids"
means that we are going to lie to the kids about things that are not real and
things that don't Give God the Glory. God had a lot to say about that, and
idolatry and many of the related topics. Please pray for the deceived, our
boys, our Rangers, (everyone's) the parents, etc.; that they would find the
wisdom to accept this nonsense for what it is and where it comes from. The
kids don't want to be lied to, just as much as we don't want them to lie to
us. Why should we participate in the lies that these things bring? Let us
pray about things like peer pressure that greatly influences this rubbish. I
have not yet been able to speak with my Pastor regarding what his ruling at
our church will be on the matter, but at least I was able to get him some
information on it.
Blessings,
Iron Mike
