With all the discussion on heroes, it got me thinking
about who are Rangers think are their heroes.
Ask them.
Will you get Stone Cold, Pikachu, or Jerry Rice(for you
Niner fans)or will you get grandpa who worked the fields
to feed a family, Uncle Kimo who fought bravely in
Vietnam and still gives his time to help Vets and speak
to high school students of the War, or Dr. King who was
a voice to many and lost his life that the many may be
heard?
Probably, you will hear more of the first lot, because
of their popularity. Maybe we don't hear more of the
second type because our Rangers don't know. We must
speak of these so the Ranges may hear. Today is a
perfect day to inform of our Countries heoes. Maybe a
good project for our Rangers is to do some family
research or learn about some missionaries or modern day
martyrs. I think they will be amazed to see what some of
these people did or continue to do. Just a thought.
