Maxwell's definition of leadership is "influence". We all influence
someone, so we're all leaders. Maxwell quotes one study that says even the
most introverted person will come in contact with 10,000 people in a
lifetime. That's a lot of influence! Add to that the numerous folks that
we'll influence without even meeting, and it gets pretty astounding.

Maxwell also teaches that we move "up" by progressing through the five
levels of leadership with an individual. We're always at different levels
with different folks, so there's always opportunity to grow. Some of us
will never lead large organizations, governments, etc; but we're leaders
because we influence those around us. I've found that when folks realize
that, it helps them to realize their full potential in whatever area they
minister.
