With the boys, I respond to the Y2K issue with the assurance of God's
protection, a realistic view that no major disaster will happen -- and even
if it does, God is our helper, and with the general good advice that we
don't worry: we pray.

I have a web page on Y2K at http://ebible.org/y2k that discusses the real
issues. My perception is that most of these issues that really matter have
been addressed, and those which haven't will not be a big deal to the
average Royal Ranger.

Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, Rejoice! Let your gentleness
be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. In nothing be anxious, but in
everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be
made known to God. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
