Greetings All,

I trust that we all had a good holiday. Just wanted to share, Wednesday
afternoon, I got back from work really late as the traffic was just
incredible. I start work at 4:00 am and finally didn't get home until
7:30pm. When I got back to my shop I found a little red puddle under my car
and saw that the transmission was leaking. This was the last thing I had
wanted, but the Lord has taught me previously to how to deal with
inconveniences like these. I drove the car for about 1 hour and 15 minutes to
go the ten miles to get to the mall to pick up my wife from work and the car
survived. It was the holiday rush and those who live near me can relate, they
know how bad traffic really does get around Washington, DC, We got the car
home and we parked it. We were a little discouraged because it meant that we
would not be able to go and spend the holiday with the family, but a quick
phone call to my mother changed all that. My Mom sent my youngest brother to
come and get my wife and I so that we could be with them. And everything was
well. Today my wife took the car down to the mechanic and he looked at the
problem and told us that we did not need a new transmission in the car. We
were praying hard about this because we really don't have major resources
available to make such a costly repair. God answered that prayer. The
Transmission checked out fine and a new gasket was applied. We only had to
spend $50.00, which I would take any day over $2,500.00 any day. Praise the
Lord for thanksgiving, as we are truly thankful.

Blessings,
Iron Mike & Debbie Burke
