The Sally's, as they affectingly called in Australia, have a real soft spot in my 
heart for 
two reasons.
Last week my youngest brother, Ross, signed his "Articles of War" thus becoming a 
soldier in the Salvation Army. My best mate, Bram, is also a Soldier. He is in the the 
Sydney Salvation Army Songsters. They will be performing in Altania next June. 
In any war Australia has been in or in any disastrous event, the Sally's have always 
been there lending a hand. They are the most respected Church in Australia.
So why don't other churches volunteer to help them out so the money collected doe 
not have go towards wages.
