Outpost 45 participated in the annual Christmas Parade of Huntsville, Al
today as well. There were about 200 entrees in this parade and it was our
first time too. I pulled our Ranger Camping Trailer. We placed a Christmas
tree in the truck bed. There were about 9 of our small boys who rode in the
bed sitting around the tree. Our trailer was decorated with garland and red
ribbons. In front of the truck we had two Pioneers carrying a banner and
then three Trailblazers carrying the three Flags. The other Tbs and Pioneers
walked in formation behind them with the boys, commanders and parents we had
about 35 total in out group. As I drove the truck I was very proud of those
boys walking in front of me with their commanders behind them. However as we
went passed so many boys in the crowds I couldn't help but think of the
fields that are still before us. I am proud to be a Royal Ranger Commander
and I am glad God saw fit to give me the chance to serve.
