My mind is subject to corruption, and emotion may distort
what I see as reasons to "Command Angles"...We need to
be carefull in thinking we hold "powers" for Hebrews 3
tells us that "take care that an evil heart would cause
you to fall away from the liveing God"
God works through us.. we must be right with him.
I recall Jesus could have called "10.000" but instead
rebuked the devil to his face...
Did Jesus do this to "oppose the beguileing of the devil"
or to set order to his mission?
Jesus wanted us to have a right mind set.. so that we could
Operate in love and mercy, and not from hatred or power...
*Many times growing up... we laid hands on people and "Commandered"
the spirit to minister in someone. It was a fearfull experiance
for me to see...
I knew the stories of "foul spirits" being driven from men into swine,
and it didn't make me feel so good to be sitting on the front row
with my feet dangleing at Norwalk Assembly of God<G> *I sure
didn't want a "backpacking spirit" to jump me.<G>
My Dad had no shyness in rebukeing Indian shawmen on the front step of the
parsonige and giveing the devil a "black eye" as well as "calling angels"
Billy Sunday style...
Interesting...
