That's true.. and while you should respect your elder.. I respect
Bob Doughty and Razorback... who are just a tad further down the trail<G>
A-drain and Gunter as well!

These items you mention have happened while I was at this job in this room!<G>

"personally witnessed" is an interesting term if by it you "mean" watched on
TV..

For me.. I personally witnessed the Watts Riot.. the Imposition of Martial Law

in the PI... Fragments of the Vietnam war and a whole lot of rear bumpers-tail
lights
on the freeways<G>

*But this is RANGERNET

...and proudly I watched it "come together" from simple conversation..
Two Commander began to talk about their outpost's and what was up with
them.. another came and was included... then another.<G>

We talked about meeting planning and events.. craft ideas and just encouraged
each other by sharing the struggles we faced to make meaning of an often
chaotic
situation<G>

You can survive a lot of boredom and stress if you know the destination is a
good place. I've always held that a Ranger meeting should be one of the
pleasant
memories a boy can have, that his time as a Ranger will be remembered in a
positive light..

For that to happen... we must work out the details that prevent Rangers being
a safe haven from the world..
