When I first became a Christian (21 years ago) I read in the Bible that a
Hebrew slave had to be freed after seven years. If the slave did not want to be
freed because his master was good to him and treated him well, he would
take a nail and drive it through his ear into the doorpost. At that time (and
still do) consider myself a "slave" to Jesus, a freed slave. I had my ear
pieced to show that I wanted to have Jesus as my Master for the rest of my
life. I no longer wear an ear ring, but you can still see the hole scar.
So I am still a freed slave to Jesus and will stay that way forever.

There's a storm coming, our Storm.
