It has been my experience that those that don't know or don't understand
something are very quick to be critical of it. I think this is what we are
seeing with the new program.
The new program is obviously not a secret! There have been some
presentations on it at seminars throughout the country. There has even been
a "brief" of it posted to rangernet. What there has NOT been is a
description of the program posted by "an authority" either to rangernet or
the "official Royal Ranger" webpage.
I would guess that probaly 75% of the people on this list have not attended
a meeting where the new program was explained. If that is expanded to Ranger
commanders in general, there is a much higher percentage that have not even
heard of it!
I understand that the new program is still being worked on and is not in the
final stages, but - someone needs to let us know what is going on.
Is anybody in the national office listening?
Am I asking too much?
