In response to a partial message I just saw:
I have supported this as long as i have been involved in
Rangers (3 years now).
When I was invovled as a youth in Sea Scouts (BSA) (14 -
18), we had young ladies involved in every aspect. With
proper supervision, there is no reason that a girl could not
learn, and enjoy, the same things the boys do.
Other countries invovle girls in Rangers, and I have not heard
of problems.
Let's consider incorporating ladies (both leaders and
Rangers) slowly. Maybe starting from the top (Challengers)
and adding other age groups as interest grows, or maybe
from the other direction (Straight Arrows) and adding.
